How the math works
Grandmaster — fixed pool: ranks 1 – 100. No divisions.
Each non-GM league is split evenly into thirds by percentile within its band. Example with a 10,000-hero ladder: Platinum spans ranks #201 – #1,800, so Platinum III = #201 – #734, Platinum II = #735 – #1,267, Platinum I = #1,268 – #1,800.
Higher division number = higher rank. Cross into the next third of your league band to promote a division; cross a league boundary to promote a league.
